Sarimah Ibrahim is of Irish Malay heritage, a native bilingual English- and Malay-speaking international screen actress, television host and recording artist.
She is known for winning the Malaysian Emmy equivalent as “Best Breakthrough Artist of the Year” and the 1st female Disney Channel Asia host.
Her value as an actress lies in using storytelling to ignite the flame of humanity within people’s hearts. She seeks roles that portray proud survivors, emotionally complex, unapologetically strong who will explore uncharted emotional territories onscreen igniting emotions of sadness, heartbreak & resilience.

A Calling
“One night at an American diner where I worked, a talent casting agent approached me and suggested I should audition for a role. And just like that, I found my calling as a screen actress, TV host, professional emcee, voice over talent, radio deejay and social media influencer. I’m athletically trained for stunts and have a Karate Kenpo Seibukan black belt, am an advanced scuba diver, skydiver, Pilates and a gym enthusiast. I suppose there was a reason why I was named after the most well-known actress in Malaysia, Sarimah, from the 1950s. Perhaps I was truly destined for the pictures”.
